4 Days Authentic Ethnic Diversities and the GOLDEN TRIANGLE

Trip Overview:
Adventure tour by four-wheel car, challenge on the Off-Road, countryside discovery, visit more than ten different of authentic ethnic diversities along the dirt-road & enjoy stunning view in the GOLDEN TRIANGLE (Laos-Myanmar-China), excellent mountain landscape, experience in different ethnic minority homestays or local guesthouses, driving through the Nam Ha National Protected Area.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Luang Namtha-Muang Sing-Akha Homestay. Approx. 165 Km
The tour starts at 9:00 AM from the office on the way Luang Namtha-Muang Sing short stop visit ethnic minority groups such as: Lanten, Akha, Khmu, Tai Lue and Tai Nuea to see hand noodle making, handicraft weaving and learning about their cultures. You will arrival in Muang Sing on the midday. After lunch driving on the dirt road up to the GOLDEN TRIANGLE AREA (Laos-Myanmar-China) that you will see excellent landscape and stunning view. Next continue to Akha homestay of Ban Jakhamlue. While waiting dinner walk around the village to see Akha daily lifestyle. After dinner you will enjoy Akha massage.

Day 2: Akha Homestay-Long Town-Hmong Homestay. Approx. 170 Km
In the early morning you will see Akha daily working. After breakfast driving on the mountain with excellent landscape of GOLDEN TRIANGLE visit Akha in different villages, they are still keeping their culture and traditional. After lunch driving down to Long town short stop to visit fresh market and continue to Ban Phin Hor “Hmong homestay”. Before dinner you have time to walk around the village, talk with local people, to see and learning about Hmong culture and traditional.

Day 3: Hmong Homestay-Vieng Phoukha-Tai Lue Homestay. Approx. 175 Km
The day after breakfast driving through the Nam Ha National Protected Area visit ethnic minority groups such as: Akha, Lahu, Khmu and Hmong to see and learning about their culture and traditional. After lunch in Vieng Phoukha travel to visit the Khmu country which located along dirt road to Nalae, on the way you will see great landscape of Nam Ha National Protected Area Mountain and arrival Tai Lue homestay of Ban Om around 17:00. While waiting dinner swimming on the Nam Tha River.

Day 4: Tai Lue Homestay-Luang Namtha. Approx. 175 Km
The Nalae town morning market is the one you must visit at that time the Khmu and Tai Lue come to selling their products which collected from the mountain and Nam Tha River. After breakfast at the homestay driving back to Luang Namtha on the way short stop visit local villages such as: Khmu, Tai Lue, Lanten and Tai Dam they are located on the bank of Nam Tha River and your left side are Nam Ha National Protected Area.

Important do’s & don’ts:
Do not give individual gifts, sweets or money to children, ask before taking photos of people or spiritual items, help keep the trails clean by not littering, please purchase handicrafts but do not purchase antiques, do not remove any archaeological remains from the site of the ancient sites, stay with the guides all the time, do not use drugs.
