We went on the three day trek and had such a great time! Dang, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable about plants, wildlife, and the jungle in general. There was more than enough food- and it was incredibly safe. I would recommend this trek to anyone looking to trek, learn, and experience the national forest.
Noy is an angel. She is caring, good person and an incredible host. When we arrived we needed assistance with visiting doctor and she helped us greatly in this difficult moment. She also helped us with organizing tickets, tours and laundry. Overall we have spent four nights here. Bungalows are rustic and charming. Sheets and towels are clean. There is a spacious terrace, where you can relax. Location is excellent, close distance to night market but away from busy streets. There were some sounds in the evening, but we liked that. God breakfast with the best coffee I had in Laos.
Really nice sized room with comfortable bed and pillows! Great location just a couple of minutes from the busy main road but the place is away from the hustle and bustle. Our outdoor seating area looked out into the gardens which had banana and papaya trees growing, was lovely to sit out as the sun went down. Philavanh (the host) made us very welcome, she offered tours and also has a laundry service and can be easily reached via WhatsApp should you need anything. The breakfast was great you get a sheet where you can tick off what you would like and there were lots of vegetarian options! Great stay, would recommend :)
